For forward-thinking landcare professionals

Landcare is changing, and professionals need weed control tools that keep pace with today’s expectations.

Smart weed control starts with the right tools. The most impressive landscapes are created by professionals who combine effective solutions with a commitment to responsible land management. FireHawk® Bioherbicide helps you achieve both.

Repeated callbacks and reactive treatments drain time and margins. A more effective approach emphasizes control and precision: managing weeds decisively, maintaining clean sites, and avoiding unnecessary follow-up. It’s about working smarter within your existing programs to keep landscapes looking intentional and well-managed.

FireHawk Bioherbicide Super Concentrate

This contact, non-selective, broad-spectrum bioherbicide provides rapid burndown of actively growing broadleaf weeds, grasses, and most mosses. With visible effects occurring within hours and no residual activity in the soil, it helps professionals keep sites clean, controlled, and on schedule.

FireHawk Bioherbicide Super Concentrate

FireHawk Bioherbicide Super Concentrate uses nonanoic acid as its active ingredient. When applied to actively growing weeds, it disrupts plant cell membranes on contact, resulting in rapid desiccation of green plant tissue.

Because FireHawk Bioherbicide does not translocate, it affects only the plant parts coated with the spray solution. Because it’s contact-based, non-systemic action is limited to treated plant tissue.

Cover thoroughly

Use a full-cone nozzle to achieve even and thorough coverage of all leaves and stems. Apply only when foliage and soil are dry. Only plant surfaces that are uniformly covered with spray will be affected. Thorough coverage is essential for best results.

Keep it mixed

Shake the concentrate for 30 seconds before adding to the spray tank. After adding, agitate the tank mixture for 30 seconds to ensure proper mixing. Maintain a homogeneous solution during application and re-agitate if the mixture has been left standing for an extended period. For larger tanks, mechanical agitation is required.

Non-selective control

FireHawk affects any green plant tissue it contacts. Avoid spraying desirable plants, and it is not recommended for use on turfgrass or lawns.

Shield desirable plants

Not recommended for spot weed control in lawns. This product harms lawn grasses. When treating weeds around desirable plants, shield plants from drift with cardboard or plastic.

Rainproof

Do not apply if rainfall is expected within 2 hours.

Followup applications

Some (mature or woody) weeds will require an additional application(s) 2-3 weeks for complete control.
